Biography

Fady Jamaleddine, an esteemed figure in legal circles, currently holds the position of Chairman, Founding Partner, and Head of the Corporate Department at MENA City Lawyers. Renowned for his proficiency in Corporate and Commercial Law as well as Property Law, Fady specializes in Corporate Finance, Taxation, Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions, Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects. Fueled by ambition and ceaseless dedication, Fady has successfully carved out an impactful career that extends beyond national boundaries. His vast expertise in national and international corporate finance transactions encompasses areas such as IPO fundraising, cross- border MAs, fund formations, acquisition finance, joint ventures, re-organizations, and commercial agreements. Fady's legal acumen is further underscored by his extensive involvement in numerous project financings, leveraged finance, and banking and financial services. He proudly represents several of the largest banks in Lebanon, utilizing his wide-ranging knowledge in the financial sector. His advisory work also includes numerous medical and pharmaceutical companies involving licensing, acquisition, and partnerships across a variety of hospitals and medical institutions throughout the MENA region.
In addition to his already broad expertise, Fady brings extensive knowledge in Intellectual Property, Media, Biopharma, and Telecoms to the table. He is a member of several prestigious international law associations, including the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA), Association of European Lawyers (AEA), American Bar Association (ABA), and International Bar Association (IBA).
Furthermore, Fady currently serves as the Vice President of the Association of European Lawyers (AEA). This role allows him to leverage his vast expertise to influence policy and practice within the international legal community. Fady's contributions are not limited to his professional engagements - he is heavily involved in numerous pro bono activities, underscoring his dedication to giving back to the community.
Previously, he held the position of President of the Disciplinary Council at the Beirut Bar Association. In recognition of his professional contributions and influence, Fady has recently been nominated as Ambassador of the Environment and Sustainable Development Unit (ESDU) at the American University of Beirut, a testament to his influence in both the legal and academic sectors and a member of the board of Trustees of AUL University.
